Getting Started

What is Leadeye Pro?

Leadeye Pro is a Chrome extension that streamlines posting and managing RV listings from your dealer website to Facebook Marketplace. It saves hours of manual work by:

  • Auto-filling Facebook listing forms with vehicle data
  • Automatically uploading photos from your dealer site
  • Syncing prices between both platforms
  • Identifying sold units that need removal from FB
  • Tracking all your matched listings
  • Optional AI agent for Facebook Messenger — helps capture leads and keep conversations moving (when enabled for your account)

First Time Setup

1
Visit dealer inventory
Go to your dealer site — the inventory search page
2
Login or Register
Click “Login / Register” in the floating Leadeye panel (bottom-right corner)
3
Activate License
Enter the license key provided by your manager to activate full features
4
Start Using!
You’ll now see blue Post to FB buttons on every listing card
Pro Tip: The extension works on two main sites:
  • Your dealer site — inventory and posting to Facebook
  • facebook.com/marketplace/you/selling — for syncing prices

Posting New Listings

Auto-posting to Facebook

Posting is driven by the blue “Post to FB” buttons on your dealer inventory pages. Leadeye Pro opens Facebook, fills vehicle details (including price, description, and other fields when available), selects up to 20 photos, and — with auto-post enabled — completes publish for you. The entire sequence is fully automated.

There are two auto-posters (same full automation; different how you queue work):

  • Batch posting — Use the checkboxes next to the blue Post to FB buttons to select multiple units, then start the batch queue from the Leadeye Pro panel. Listings post one after another; each pass through Facebook is fully automated. Once the queue is running, you can walk away, help customers on the lot, or even go to sleep — the extension handles everything until the queue is done.
  • Hands-on (single-unit) — Click Post to FB on one listing whenever you want to go unit-by-unit. You only choose when each run starts; the Facebook steps stay fully automated.
While a run is active: Leave the Facebook tab open until photos finish uploading (often 30–60 seconds for large sets).
Power & Sleep Settings: If you plan to start a batch queue and walk away, make sure your computer’s sleep and screen timeout settings are turned off or set to a long duration. If your PC goes to sleep, Chrome pauses and the queue will stop. Go to Settings > System > Power & sleep on Windows and set both screen and sleep to “Never” while batch posting.
AI-generated descriptions: Leadeye Pro can draft professional copy from your inventory data — paired with the auto-post flow above.

Smart Photo Selection

Smart Photo Selection is an optional feature you can toggle on in either auto-poster. It’s designed for listings with many photos and picks the best set automatically:

  • Wide-angle priority — Prefers wide-angle exterior and interior shots that show the most of the vehicle
  • Avoids duplicates — Skips photos that look too similar so your listing has more variety
  • Floorplan included — Always places the floorplan as the last photo when one is available
  • Up to 20 photos — Selects the best 20 from however many are on your dealer site

When Smart Photo Selection is off, the extension simply uses the first 20 photos in order from your dealer site.

Important: Don’t close the Facebook tab or navigate away while photos are uploading. The process may take 30–60 seconds for large photo sets.

Use My Photos (QR Upload)

Why Use Custom Photos?

Dealer website photos are great, but sometimes you want your own. Maybe you took better walk-around shots, or the dealer photos are low quality, or you want to showcase specific features. Use My Photos lets you upload your own photos from your phone and attach them to a specific stock number — so when the listing is posted to Facebook, your photos are used instead of the dealer site images.

Key benefit: Because photos are linked to the stock number, the listing stays matched to your dealer inventory. This means price changes stay synchronized and the system always knows the unit is still available — even though you replaced the photos.

How It Works

1
Open the Post to FB Modal
On your dealer inventory page, click the blue “Post to FB” button on any listing. In the modal that opens, find the “Use My Photos” section and click “Get QR Code”.
2
Scan the QR Code with Your Phone
Open your phone camera and scan the QR code displayed on screen. This opens a secure upload page linked to that specific stock number. No app download needed.
3
Take or Select Up to 20 Photos
Use your phone to snap photos directly or select from your camera roll. You can upload up to 20 photos per stock number. The upload link expires in 4 hours for security.
4
Photos are Ready Instantly
As photos upload, the counter updates in real-time (e.g., “6 photos ready to use”). When you proceed to post, the extension uses your uploaded photos instead of the dealer site images.

Managing Your Photos

  • New QR Code — Click “New QR Code” to generate a fresh upload link if the previous one expired or you want to upload from a different device.
  • Clear All Photos — If you uploaded the wrong photos or want to start over, the red “Clear All Photos” button appears once photos are staged. It deletes all uploaded photos for that stock number so you can re-upload.
  • Multiple Sessions — You can upload photos across multiple sessions. New photos are added to the existing set until you clear them.
Pro Tip: Take your photos before sitting down at the computer. When you’re ready to post, scan the QR code, select photos from your camera roll, and they’ll be ready in seconds. This is much faster than emailing photos to yourself or using USB transfers.

Staying Matched & Synced

Custom photos do not break price synchronization or inventory matching. Here’s why:

  • Stock number linked — Your photos are stored against the vehicle’s stock number. The extension’s matching engine uses stock numbers, not photos, to link Facebook listings to dealer inventory.
  • Price updates continue — When the dealer site price changes, the extension detects the mismatch and prompts you to update — regardless of which photos are on the Facebook listing.
  • Sold detection works — If the vehicle is removed from the dealer inventory (sold), the extension correctly flags the Facebook listing as “Sold from Website” for cleanup.

Price Synchronization

Running a Price Sync

Price updates are available after you run a Facebook sync first. Here’s the full flow:

1
Start from Your Dealer Website
Go to your dealer inventory site. Click the LeadeyePro button in the bottom-right corner, then click “Sync with Facebook”.
2
Wait for the Sync to Finish
The extension will open Facebook and scroll through your listings automatically (1–3 minutes depending on count). Don’t scroll or click elsewhere while it’s running.
3
Update Prices
Once the sync completes, the results panel will show any price differences. You can update prices individually or use “Update All Prices” to queue them in bulk.
Critical: Don’t scroll or click elsewhere while sync is running! The extension needs to scan the entire page without interference.

Updating Prices

After a sync completes, the results panel shows any price differences between your dealer site and Facebook. Most price updates are done right from this sync window:

1
From the sync results panel — Click the price update button next to any listing that shows a mismatch. The extension opens the Facebook edit page and auto-fills the correct price.
2
From your dealer site (optional) — After a sync has run, you’ll also see orange “Update Price” buttons on individual inventory pages. These work the same way — click, and the FB listing opens with the correct price ready to save. Note: a sync must have run first for these buttons to appear.
Bulk Updates: Click “Update All Prices” in the sync results panel to queue up to 5 price updates at once. The limit is intentional — LeadeyePro spaces out changes to protect your account from being flagged or shadow-banned by Facebook.

Onboarding Your Existing Listings

No Need to Delete Old Listings

Already have listings on Facebook Marketplace? Keep them. LeadeyePro is designed to work with your existing inventory — you do not need to delete anything and start over.

When you run your first sync, the extension automatically scans your Facebook listings and matches them to your dealer website inventory. It uses stock numbers, titles, pricing, and AI image comparison to link everything together.

What happens automatically: Most listings will be matched instantly. LeadeyePro links each Facebook post to the correct unit on your dealer site so it can track price changes, posting status, and sold units going forward.

Confirming Uncertain Matches

Because your existing Facebook listings were posted before you started using LeadeyePro, some matches may need your confirmation. This is normal — the extension plays it safe and won’t assume a match unless it’s confident.

After a sync, the “Needs Confirmation” section shows any listings the system wasn’t 100% sure about:

1
Review — Compare the Facebook listing image and title with the dealer inventory unit shown next to it
2
Confirm — If it’s the same unit, click Confirm Match to permanently link them. Once confirmed, LeadeyePro tracks that listing like any other.
Keyboard Shortcut: Press Y to confirm or N to reject the first item quickly.

Using Your Own Photos

LeadeyePro encourages you to use your own photos. When posting from your dealer site using the blue “Post to FB” button, you can upload custom photos in the Custom Photos section. The listing will still be automatically matched to your dealer inventory — your own photos won’t break the link.

You can also change photos on an already-posted and matched listing. The match stays intact, so price tracking and sold detection continue working as normal.

Manually Posted Listings

Prefer to create your own Facebook posts — for example, using your phone with custom descriptions and photos? That works too.

The next time you run a sync, LeadeyePro will detect the new listing and show it in “Needs Confirmation.” Simply confirm the match to link it to the correct dealer unit. From that point on, LeadeyePro will:

  • Track price changes between your dealer site and the Facebook listing
  • Show the listing as “posted” so you know it’s live
  • Flag it for removal when the unit sells or leaves your inventory
Full flexibility: Whether LeadeyePro posts the listing, you post it with custom photos through the extension, or you create it entirely on your own — every listing can be tracked and managed once it’s matched.

Marking Units as Sold

After sync, “Mark as Sold” shows FB listings that should be removed:

  • These listings are on Facebook but the unit is no longer in your dealer inventory
  • Click “Mark Sold on FB” to open the listing
  • On Facebook, click “Mark as Sold” to remove from marketplace
Verify First: Sometimes units are temporarily removed from dealer inventory (e.g., pending paperwork). Check before marking sold!

Troubleshooting

Common Issues & Solutions

Sync not finding all my listings?
  • Make sure you’re on the “Your Listings” page, not “Saved” or “Buying”
  • Wait for the page to fully load before starting sync
  • Try running sync again — Facebook’s lazy loading can be slow
  • If you have 100+ listings, the scan may take 2–3 minutes
Wrong price showing on button?
  • Run a fresh sync on the FB selling page to update cached prices
  • If still wrong, use “Unmatch” and re-confirm the match
  • As last resort, use “Refresh Sync Cache” in Settings (keeps matches)
Buttons not appearing on your dealer site?
  • Make sure you’re logged in (check the floating panel)
  • Verify your subscription is active
  • Try refreshing the page (Ctrl+R or Cmd+R)
  • Go to chrome://extensions and click refresh on Leadeye Pro
Photos not uploading to Facebook?
  • Don’t close the tab while photos are uploading
  • Make sure you have a stable internet connection
  • Facebook limits to 20 photos — extra photos are skipped
  • Try clearing browser cache if issues persist
Match Manager showing wrong matches?
  • Use the “Unmatch” button to remove incorrect matches
  • Re-run sync to re-match the listings correctly
  • For stubborn cache issues on your dealer inventory site, open the floating panel → diagnostic tools (Diagnose / Nuclear Purge) if shown, or use Copy debug info in the extension popup and email [email protected]

Reset Options

Open LeadeyePro Settings from the floating panel on a dealer inventory page (not the extension popup):

  • Clear Local Only — clears local cache; cloud data can be restored on next sync
  • Reset Everything & Start Fresh — full reset of matches and inventory cache (re-scan required)
Warning: Full reset will require you to re-confirm matches. Only use as a last resort!

Frequently Asked Questions

How often should I run a sync?
We recommend syncing at least once per day, ideally at the start and end of your shift. This ensures prices stay current and sold units are marked promptly.
Can multiple people use Leadeye Pro on the same FB account?
Yes! Leadeye Pro syncs data to the cloud, so multiple team members can work on the same inventory. Each user needs their own Leadeye account and license key.
What happens if I accidentally mark the wrong listing as sold?
On Facebook, you can click “Mark as Available” to bring the listing back. Then run a sync to update Leadeye’s records.
Why are some matches showing as “suspicious”?
The “Scan for Mistakes” feature flags matches that might be incorrect based on image comparison or price differences. Review these and unmatch if needed.
Can I use Leadeye Pro on Firefox or Safari?
Currently, Leadeye Pro is only available for Google Chrome. Support for other browsers may be added in the future.
How do I contact support?
Email [email protected]. Include what you were doing, your extension version (popup header), and screenshots if something looks wrong. You can also use the Support link in the extension popup footer.
